Hi gals (and guys)!
This blog post will give you a couple of tipps on what do to with curd soap, which I’ve shown you how to make in this post.
How to mold and cut Curd Soap:
Recipes:
I’ve collected a couple of recipes on what to use curd soap for.. I’ll tried them and really like them. So I’ll share them with you!
Liquid Laundry Detergent
about 1 litre of destilled water, boiling
80g grated curd soap
50g washing soda
Dissolve soda and soap in boiling water. Let it cool down and fill into bottle for easy dispersal. If it thickens up too much, add more hot water and shake. Use about 1/4cup of detergent for one machine load. For white clothing, add some oxi clean to the soap/soda mixture and dissolve it in there as well.
Powder Laundry Detergent
200g finely grated curd soap
150g baking soda
200g washing soda
(50g oxi clean for extra whitening)
Mix the ingredients in a food processor and store in an airtight container. Use about 2tbsp for one machine load.
Clean Everything House Cleaning Gel
100g finely grated curd soap
1,5 litre destilled water, hot
50g washing soda
EO for scent, e.g. sweet orange (which also has a detergent effect)
Dissolve soap and washing soda in hot water. Let cool down a bit, then add scent. Store in a squeeze bottle for easy dispersal. Use it pure on a sponge in the shower, in the kitchen, etc.. :)
Hope you have fun with this!
