If you’re a bit like me, you’re somewhat able to read a couple of languages. So for me it’s normal to read blogs in English, German, French or Spanish. And what always “gets” me are the different names for the Stampin’ Up colors. It’s really quite confusing to keep them all in my head.
So I took the time (being sick and coughing all the time.. stupid bronchitis) and compiled a table on ALL the current Stampin’ Up colors in English, German, Spanish and French.. Take it as some sort of “Stampers little helper” ;) … And what else you can see when reading the list is the inconsistent way that the colors have been named. For most German names (I might be biased, since this is my mother tongue), I feel like SU didn’t even try to come up with a fitting name. Doesn’t even have to be true to the original English name, but at least fitting to the color itself.
So have fun with it! :)
